Get the Hardware

Install a bed-clearing hardware kit of your choice on your Bambu Lab printer. Both passive (bed-bending) and powered (linear actuator) kits are widely available from the open-source maker community.

Download G-Loop

Download and install the G-Loop desktop application. The installer takes less than a minute. Sign in with your G-Loop account to activate your license.

What is G-Loop?
G-Loop is a desktop application that modifies Bambu Lab slicer G-code to enable continuous (push-mode) 3D printing. It processes your existing G-code files and adds the instructions needed for your printer to automatically clear the build plate and start the next print, enabling 24/7 unattended production.
Which printers are supported?
G-Loop supports all 8 Bambu Lab printer models: X1C, X1E, P1S, P1P, P2S, A1, A1 Mini, and H2D. Each printer has a dedicated profile with model-specific G-code optimizations. Non-Bambu printers are not supported at this time.
What is “continuous printing” / “push mode”?
Continuous printing (also known as push mode) is a technique where the printer automatically pushes the finished print off the build plate at the end of each job and immediately starts the next one. This allows your printer to run 24/7 without manual intervention, producing parts in a continuous loop.
Do I need special hardware?
Yes. G-Loop handles the software (G-code processing) side, but you need physical bed-clearing hardware to remove finished prints from the build plate. Both passive kits (bed-bending) and powered kits (linear actuator) are widely available from the open-source maker community.
What types of bed-clearing hardware exist?
Two main approaches exist: passive kits use a bed-bending mechanism — the printer nozzle pushes the bed at an angle to flex the plate and release the print, working with most supported printers and being the most common DIY setup. Powered kits use a microcontroller-controlled linear actuator (typically 64Nm) to physically push the print off the plate without bending — the recommended approach for cantilever printers like the A1 series.
Does G-Loop work offline?
Yes. G-Loop is a desktop application that runs entirely on your computer. An internet connection is only needed for initial license activation and periodic validation (once every 7 days). There is a 30-day offline grace period, so your printing is never interrupted by temporary network issues.
What file formats are supported?
G-Loop supports both .gcode and .3mf files exported from Bambu Lab slicer (Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer). The .3mf format is recommended as it preserves all slicer metadata and can be sent directly to the printer. G-Loop extracts the G-code from the archive, processes it, and repackages it safely.
How does auto push height work?
G-Loop automatically calculates the optimal eject height for each print based on the height of your part, so the nozzle pushes the model off the plate safely. You can fine-tune the result with the Z Offset setting. Very short parts are handled with dedicated profiles to ensure a reliable eject.
Can I use G-Loop with non-Bambu printers?
No. G-Loop is designed specifically for Bambu Lab printers and their proprietary G-code format. The processing relies on printer-specific markers, commands, and profiles that are unique to Bambu Lab firmware. Support for other manufacturers may be considered in the future.

Is there a free trial / beta?
Yes. G-Loop is currently in beta: beta testers get free access to all features and all printers during the testing period. In parallel, subscription plans are already available for those who want to support the project and secure access after the beta ends. You can sign up for the beta to get started.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. After cancellation, your license remains active until the end of the current billing period.
